BURKHOLDER & DURBORAW ON THE FRONT ROW FOR THE HUB-CITY NATIONAL 150

HAGERSTOWN, MD. Doug Burkholder of Chambersburg, PA and Nathan Durboraw of

Hagerstown will sit on the front row for the start of Saturday night's
Turbo-Blue Racing Gasoline Hub-City National 150 at the Hagerstown Speedway.

Burkholder was the 23rd car in the field of 53 cars to take time and set
the
one-lap fast time of 19.057 seconds to earn the pole for the 150-lap event.

Durboraw had second fast time of 19.342 seconds to earn the outside pole.

Twenty-two cars have made their way into the starting field with the rest
of
the 30-car field coming from the B-Main on Saturday night.

The five heat winners from Friday's qualifying events will make up the

next five spots in the field. Booper Bare, Gary Stuhler, Rick Eckert, Todd

Andrews and Steve Francis were the five J&K Toys heat winners. Other drivers

who have qualified include Frankie Plessinger, Marvin Winters, Andy Anderson,

Tom Myers, DJ Myers; Jeff Rine, **** Barton, Mike Atherton, Charlie Schaffer,

Paul Crowl, Tim Wilson, Scott Haus, Greg Fetters, Bo Feathers and Travis

Dillman.

Rusty Sites and Tim Fedder won the qualifying heats in the Hoosier
Tires/Mid-Atlantic late model sportsman and Bryan Kerns and Phil Madagan
were
the heat winners in the Ernie's Salvage Yard Pure Stocks.

Gates will open at 5 P.M. on Saturday for the second night of the
Hub-City National 150 with racing at 7 P.M. Following the B-main for the
late
models, there will be the final feature events of the year for the pure
stocks and late model sportsman. The longest late model race of the year,
the
Hub-City National 150 will round out the program.
