The Outlaws are coming!! The Pennzoil "World of Outlaws" are coming to
Lernerville Speedway, May 14th for the "Commonwealth Clash" Sprint Show.
Gates open at 4:00pm, time trials are at 7:15, and racing is at 8:00. Rain
date is Wed. May 15th. The exclusive 35-lap "greatest show on dirt" pays
$10,000 to win. This is the "hottest" Sprint car group in the country that
features the "King" of the Outlaws, Steve Kinser, Mark Kinser, Sammy Swindell
and Danny Lasoski, Danny Wood, Aliquippa native, Tim Shaffer.
Defending 2001 WoO Points Champion Danny "the Dude" Lasoski completed a
double-feature sweep at Talladega last weekend that placed him on top of the
2002 WoO points chart. He leads Steve Kinser by two digits. Tim Shaffer is in
fifth place 112 points behind the leader.
Lasoski has driven the Tony Stewart's #20 J.D. Byrider Eagle to victory in
four main events this season. The All-Time WoO A-feature victor is Slammin'
Sammy Swindell with thirteen. Steve Kinser is the winner of 12 "A" Features
at Lernerville and is driving his #11 Quaker State Maxim. Mark Kinser has
recorded six big wins at the Sarver track; five of them were Don Martin
Memorial WoO victories. Danny "the Fossil" Wood won a WoO career first at
Lernerville in September 2001. The 2000 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year was
the oldest WoO rookie. Wood is one of the most personable Sprint car drivers
today. Shaffer is the new driver of the #83 Beef Packers Eagle formerly
driven by Lasoski. Shaffer piloted the #11H Vivarin Maxim for 3 years.

Credit cards may be used. To get to Lernerville, take Rt. 28 North to Exit
17, then go 4 miles North on Rt. 356.
The 2002 Pennzoil World of Outlaw Series will feature 64 events over 104
dates, at 42 tracks in 25 states, and more than $10; million in purses,
contingencies, and point fund awards.
