TRACK CHAMPIONS READY FOR HOOSIER TIRE RACE OF CHAMPIONS
HAGERSTOWN, MD - More than 15 late model track champions are expected to
compete in the 15th Annual Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic Race of Champions
at the Hagerstown Speedway on Sunday afternoon, October 14th . The Race
of Champions will highlight the five feature program that includes a
complete program of qualifying heats and feature events for the ITSI
late models, the Hoosier Tires late model sportsman, Ernie's Salvage
Yard pure stocks and the 4-cyl pure stocks. Race time is 1 P.M. with
gates opening at 11 A.M.
Sponsored by W&W Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic and Hoosier Tires of
Finksburg, MD, the Race of Champions has become an opportunity for the
country's best drivers, all champions at their home track, to meet one
another and race for one more feature win against the best in the

Deane Guy - Potomac Speedway; Luke Hoffner - Hidden Valley Speedway;
Dave Groves - Bedford Speedway; Todd Ritchey - The Rock at Allegheny
County; Jason Covert - Silver Spring Speedway; Steve Campbell - Port
Royal Speedway and more.
Sunday's program will be the last Sunday afternoon race before the
Octoberfest 350 and many drivers will be making the tow to Hagerstown to
tune-up their cars for the afternoon surface.
