The 13th Annual "Pittsburgher 100" featuring the Renegade STARS Racing Series
is set for September 14, 15, and 16 at Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor
Speedway. This year's edition of the 100 lap race on Dirt's Monster Half
Mile will pay the winner $22,000. Greensburg PA's Davey Johnson, who won
last year's race, will be attempting to become the first four-time winner of
the prestigious event. Last year the race drew a record one hundred entries
from all over the United States.

The weekend activities get underway Friday (9/14) with Renegade STARS Racing
Series and E-modified practice from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and throughout the
evening's racing program, which includes a Pure Stock and Amateur Stock
Invitational. Pit gates will open at 5:00 pm with general admission gates
opening at six. Adult general admission Friday is $8.00, children 12 years of
age and under are free, and the pit admission is $12.00.

Saturday will find pit gates opening at 11:00 am, and general admission gates
opening at 12:00 Noon. Renegade STARS Racing Series registration and tech.
inspection will begin at 11:30 am with warm-ups scheduled for 2:00 pm
followed by STARS late model time trials at 4:00 pm. Qualifying heat races
for the STARS late models will get underway after completion of the time
trials, and filling out the racing card will be the E-Modifieds in a complete
racing program. A live band "Gunslinger" will perform for the fans and
campers after the races.

Both pit and grandstand gates open at 11:00 am on Sunday. A driver autograph
session will take place from 12:30 to 1:30 pm with STARS warm-ups scheduled
to begin at 2:30 pm. The STARS "B" Mains will get underway at 3:30 pm
followed by the dash, and then the starting field for the "13th Annual
Pittsburgher 100" will take the green flag from honorary starter and
Pittsburgh radio legend, "The Boss Man" Porky Chedwick!

Two-day adult general admission is $38.00, with two-day pit admission
$48.00. Student tickets are $9.00 each day for ages 9-14, and all children 8
years of age and under are free both days. Admission for Saturday's events
only are $23 in the grandstands, and $28 in the pits.
