EXCITEMENT PEAKING FOR THE 33rd ANNUAL HILLBILLY 100
SEPTEMBER 2ND AND 3RD AT TYLER COUNTY SPEEDWAY
(Middlebourne, WV) Excitement is peaking for the Labor Day racing
spectacular on September 2nd and 3rd with the 33rd running of the HILLBILLY
100 at Tyler County Speedway. Over $75,000 in prize money is up for the
taking in "America's Oldest Dirt Late Model Major" event. The Super Late
Models will set their sights on the $25,000 to win top prize.
Race fans from around the country have proclaimed the HILLBILLY 100 a "must
see" event since the move to Tyler County Speedway in 1998. Drivers from
all parts of the nation have flocked to the "Fastest Quarter-Mile of Dirt"
in the East to be a part of this National Event.
In addition to the Late Models, 4 other titles will be on the line.
Headlining the Sunday racing will be the Steel Block Late Models in the
$2,500 to Win HILLBILLY 50. In addition the Modifieds, Street Stocks and
Pure Stocks will compete in heat race action.
The Monday excitement peaks with the 33rd running of the 100-lap, $25,000 to
win, HILLBILLY 100 for the Super Late Models. In addition, the Modifieds
will shoot it out in the $1000 to win WHITE LIGHTIN 25. The Street Stocks
will put it all on the line in the $1000 to win SOUR MASH 20. The Pure
Stocks will battle in the $500 to win LIL' HILLBILLY 20.
The Hillbilly 100 weekend provides race fans with tons of on track action.
Additionally Sunday and Monday only General Admission pricing has been added
to better accommodate all of the race fans. The two-day pass makes the
HILLBILLY 100 the most affordable, action packed 2-day show in the country.
Gates open on Sunday at 5pm with racing at 8pm. Gates open on Monday at
10am with racing at 3pm. 2-Day General Admission is $30, Sunday only
General Admission is $15, Monday only General Admission is $20, Pit Passes
are $40, Ages 7-12 are $10, and ages 6 and under are FREE. Camping is
