THE FASTEST SHOW ON DIRT COMES TO NEBRASKA RACEWAY PARK, PENNZOIL WORLD OF
OUTLAWS JUST OVER A MONTH AWAY
August 15, 2001 - Greenwood, Neb. - Race fans are gearing up for one of the
most anticipated shows of the season at Nebraska Raceway Park. The
"Fastest Show on Dirt", the Pennzoil World of Outlaws, rolls into the
Greenwood, Nebraska track for their fall show SEPTEMBER 20, 21 and 22. It
will be the first appearance for the Outlaws at NRP in 2001, after the
spring May 4-5 show was cancelled due to rain.
Fans will be thrilled by high-speed racing action as the top sprint car
drivers in the country compete at the 4/10-mile dirt oval. NRP, formerly
I-80 Speedway, has played host to the Pennzoil World of Outlaws for a number
of years with drivers and fans descending upon the track with anticipation
of the excitement that the series brings to each event. This show, a
$20,000-to-win triple program, is sure to keep fans on the edge of their
