UNEXPECTED TRACK CLOSURES ALTER UDTRA SCHEDULE

WOODSTOCK, GA - The sudden and unexpected closure of two race tracks,
Sunnyview Speed Zone Raceway in Oshkosh, WI and Benton County Speedway in
Boswell, IN, have forced United Dirt Track Racing Association officials
to
remove two events from the 2001 UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series schedule.

The scheduled events at Oshkosh, WI on August 6, and Boswell, IN on August
10 have been removed from the UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series 2001 schedule. Due
to the timing of the track closures and the dates involved, UDTRA officials
will not reschedule the events at other venues.

The UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series will begin its second Midwest Tour of the
2001
season this Friday and Saturday night with the Annual $20,000-to-win Ironman
100 at Florence Speedway in Union, KY. America's Favorite Show On Dirt
then
travels to LaSalle Speedway in LaSalle, IL on July 31 for a 50-lap
$10,000-to-win show.

The highlight of the tour will be the Annual $40,000-to-win USA Nationals
100 at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI on August 3-4. The USA
Nationals is the second richest event on the 2001 UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series
schedule. The tour will wind up at the Winnebago County Fairgrounds
Speedway in Pecatonica, IL on August 8 for a 50-lap $10,000-to-win main
event.
