PITTSBURGH'S PENNSYLVANIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY

IMPERIAL, PA --- Several important and special events are lined up for
Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway located near Imperial, PA in the next few
weeks. First up is the "Racers for Tots" -Christmas in July- Toy Drive
sponsored by Medical Center Brace and Bill Kell Racing Engines. This event,
benefiting the Marine Corps Reserve "Toys for Tots" program, will be taking
place at the track on Saturday, July 28. Race fans are being asked to help
make the upcoming holiday season special for needy children by simply
bringing a new, unwrapped toy to the Zoresco "Racers for Tots" trailer
located at the speedway. In return, everyone making a donation will be given
a coupon worth $2 off admission on any remaining race event this year,
including the season finale, "The Pittsburgher". In addition to receiving
the coupon, all race fans donating a toy or making a monetary contribution to
"Toys for Tots" automatically become eligible to win special door prizes.
While all this is happening, the QPI Tools Late Models, Limited Late Models,
E-Mods, Isiminger's Pure Stocks, and the Amateur Stocks will be presenting a
complete racing program. The evening will conclude with another exciting
Demo Derby on the front straightaway.
The following Saturday, August 4, marks the return of the Mid-Atlantic
Championship Series (MACS) dirt late models when they present the 40 Lap
"Nick Garin Memorial" honoring the gentleman who built the speedway, AND
celebrate their series 100th event at Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway. The
Limited Late Models, E-mods and Pure Stocks will also be in action. Make
plans now to be part of this special night of MACS racing at Dirt's Monster
"Racers for Tots" through the combined efforts of event organizer, Jimmy
Steigerwald, and Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway is hosting a motorcycle ride
and classic car cruise on Saturday, August 11. Registration for the 80 mile
toy run, which is open to the public, gets underway at 12 noon. At 1pm, the
riders will depart from the speedway and proceed down Rt. 22 to Steubenville
OH. The ride will continue to East Liverpool, Ohio via Rt. 7 to Route 30
through Chester WV and come back to the speedway. The fee to participate in
this fun run which benefits "Toys for Tots" is $20 per rider, and $10 per
passenger. Everyone registering for the 80 mile run also receives FREE
grandstand admission to Saturday night's stock car racing program at PPMS.

Pittsburgh's PA Motor Speedway is conveniently located at the Noblestown Exit
of Route 22 West, just minutes from the Pittsburgh International Airport.
