BUSY THREE DAYS AHEAD FOR UDTRA COMPETITORS IN OHIO

CONNEAUT, OH - The United Dirt Track Racing Association Pro DirtCar Series
competitors will have a busy next three days with events in Conneaut, OH
and
Orrville, OH that will conclude the Ohio Blitz of the three-week UDTRA
Midwest Tour.

Raceway 7 in Conneaut, OH will host a 100-lap $20,000-to-win event on
Thursday and Friday, and Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, OH will feature
a 50-lap $10,000-to-win event on Saturday night.

Rick Eckert of York, PA heads into the Raceway 7 show with a 161-point lead
over Steve Francis of Ashland, KY in the UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series points
chase. Eckert is fresh off his fourth win of the season on Tuesday night
in
Zanesville, OH. Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN is third in points.

The 1999 UDTRA Champion Dale McDowell of Rossville, GA took another top
ten
finish in Zanesville to remain in fourth spot, and Dan Schlieper of
Pewaukee, WI is fifth in points with one win, and he is 37 points behind
McDowell. Wendell Wallace of Batesville, AR is sixth with three wins, and
is 19 points behind Schlieper.

Two-time winner Jimmy Mars of Elk Mound, WI is seventh in the point
standings, followed by Ray Cook of Brasstown, NC, who is just three points
behind Mars. The 1996 UDTRA Champion Freddy Smith of Knoxville, TN is ninth
with one win this season.

One of the favorites for both Raceway 7 and Wayne County Speedway will be
"The Shoestring Traveler" Chub Frank of Sugar Grove, PA. Frank won both
UDTRA events at both tracks last season, and has two wins in 12 UDTRA Pro
DirtCar Series appearances this season with eight top five finishes.

Other top UDTRA competitors expected for the Raceway 7 and Wayne County
Speedway shows are UDTRA Rookie of the Year point leader Joe Izzo of
LaSalle, IL, Randy Korte of Highland, IL, Steve Boley of West Liberty, IA,
two-time winner Davey Johnson of Greensburg, PA, two-time and defending
UDTRA East Bay Winternationals Champion Steve Shaver of Parkersburg, WV,
and
Mike Balzano of Parkersburg, WV with one UDTRA win this season.

On both Thursday and Friday at Raceway 7, the pit and grandstand gates opens
at 5 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 7 p.m. The Thursday night show will
feature UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series Qualifications and the Borla Performance
Heat Races. The Raceway 7 Steel Block Late Models will also be in action
on
Thursday night.

On Friday, there will be a UDTRA Driver's Autograph Session at 5:30 p.m.
on
Souvenir Row. Friday night's show will feature the UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series
Renegade Transporters and Polaris ATVs Consolation Races and the 100-lap
$20,000-to-win main event. The Raceway 7 E Mods and Super Stock Divisions
will also be in action on Friday night.

south of I-90 at exit 241 on State Road 7.

On Saturday at Wayne County Speedway, the pit gate opens at 3 p.m., and
the
grandstand gate opens at 4 p.m. UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series hot laps are
scheduled for 5:30 p.m. followed by Qualifications, Borla Performance Heat
Races, the Renegade Transporters and Polaris ATVs Consolation Races, and
the
50-lap $10,000-to-win main event.
