Next Midwest Series dates at Boone, Audubon, Arlington
VINTON, Iowa - A first-time visit to the Boone Speedway starts an upcoming three-race set for the Midwest Motor-sports Best of the Midwest Series.
The series for I.M.C.A. Sunoco Stock Cars travels to Boone on Monday, May 28, in a Memorial Day doubleheader that also features the Deery Brothers Summer Series for I.M.C.A. Sunoco Late Models.
Pit gates open at 4 p.m. that day, with hot laps at 6 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
A pair of Tuesday night shows follow, as Best of the Midwest competitors travel June 5 to the Audubon Speedway and then June 12 to the Arlington, Minn., Raceway.
At Audubon, gates open at 5 p.m., hot laps are at 7 p.m. and racing begins at 7:30 p.m.
The race at Arlington is part of the fifth annual Lions Club event. Pit gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6 p.m. and the first heat race at 7 p.m.
Running on the same program are I.M.C.A. Sunoco Modifieds, in a National Modified Series event, and the I.MC.A. Hobby Stocks.
