posted April 28, 2001 04:54 PM BUG DAY SUCCESSFUL; SEASON OPENS SATURDAY CLEARFIELD, PA - Bug day was held Saturday at Hidden Valley Speedway and it was a huge success. Nearly 50 drivers visited the speedway to kick off its tenth Anniversary. Some beautiful cars await the season open this week. The Sid's Subs Late Models, Kneppy's Fireworks Small Block Modifieds, 84 Lumber Street Stocks, Four Cylinders, and North West Bae Kennel Pure Stocks will see action every Saturday night beginning this week. The gates will open at 5 with racing set for 7 p.m. sharp. The speedway will open with a special awards presentation to honor last seasons top competitors. The season is expected to be an exciting one with several new drivers planning to be in action each week along with drivers who have moved up. As the season begins we wonder who will top the list of champions at the finish of the 2001 season. Only time will tell, so stay tuned for the Wildest Show on Dirt at the Speedway that really is hidden...Hidden Valley!
