ROLLING VINTAGE RACER CAR SHOW COMING TO EAST WINDSOR SPEEDWAY THIS FRIDAY
EVENING (MAY 4)
EAST WINDSOR, N.J. ~ Stock car auto racing fans will get the chance to enjoy
a trip down memory lane this Friday night (May 4) when the beautifully
restored race cars of the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club visit the
half-mile clay oval.
`Over 20 of these race cars are expected to be on hand with many of them
being the same cars that raced on this historic oval in decades gone by. Fans
are urged to arrive well before the 7:30 p.m. post time so that they can
inspect the race cars and visit with many of the area's most famous drivers
in the speedway's mid-way area. Later in the evening the memories will
continue when many of these vintage race cars take to the speedway during
Some of the most heated present day dirt track stock car racing found at any
speedway will also continue on Friday evening at the East Windsor Speedway
when three racing divisions take to the half mile clay oval speedway at 7:30
Doug Hoffman of Allentown, Pa., a two-time feature winner already this
season, title contenders Jimmy Horton of Whitehouse Station,
Frenchtown's Billy Pauch and Kenny Brightbill of Sinking Spring, Pa.
will be among the drivers to watch in headline Modified 25-lap main event
The Sportsman division will return for a 20-lap main event, while the
Street Stocks compete in a 15-lapper.
Weekly Friday night dirt track action is slated to continue at the East
Windsor Speedway through September.
