Greenwood Valley Action Track
April 7, 2001
Some years there are no rain-outs, no postponements, and few weather delays at The Greenwood Valley Action Track near Millville. Some years there are. For the second week in a row The Action Track was forced to cancel the traditional “Bug Nite”, an informal Saturday afternoon testing time for the drivers, pit crews and, most importantly, the snack bar operators. Cindy and Gerry Creveling, track promoters and operators, decided that the track was too wet, and the showers too frequent to run, so both “Bug Nite” and the first point race will be held next Saturday, April 14th.
The Action Track’s first point race will start at 4PM, however, the gates open at noon to allow teams to practice and set up their Micros, Karts, Garden Tractors and Slingshots.
Join us for the first points event at The Greenwood Valley Action Track, located 4 1/2 miles east of Millville, just south of route 254. Don’t bother to bring food! The two fine snack bars will be serving their usual menu of hearty and varied food and Mama Cindioni’s pizza will again be available.
See you at The Action Track
