Sprints, Stock Cars Do New Egypt Bunny Hop

New Egypt, NJ (Apr. 6) -- The season debut of the URC Sprint cars -- with
some surprise entrants -- plus a full racing card of big-block Modifieds,
Sportsman, Street Stocks and Rookies, and a bevy of giveaways from the
night's sponsor, Old Country Buffet. Throw in a live appearance by the
Easter Bunny himself and you've got one boppin' Bunny Hop on Saturday night,
April 14 at New Egypt Speedway.

Old Country Buffet, the all-you-can-eat buffet-style restaurant located in
Toms River, NJ, has snagged the Easter Bunny to hand out coupons good for a
free OCB breakfast, lunch or dinner to the first 200 adults through the
front gates. In addition, Old Country Buffet will award trophies and
dinner-for-four certificates to the night's four big race winners.

But the really big news is the return of Donnie Kreitz and Sean Michael to
the URC Sprint car ranks. Kreitz, a former URC champ who's now the all-time
feature winner in the 410 Sprint class at Williams Grove, PA, will be making
select appearances with URC this season in the Sam Locuson #97, starting
with the April 14 club opener at New Egypt. Also in the field will be '97
and '99 URC champion Michael, another 410 division standout, as well as Bill
Brian, Jeff Rohrbaugh and 2000 champ Brian Seidel. A 40-car showing is

"Top to bottom, URC has never been stronger," club president John Zimmerman
stated. "We have a great field and we can't wait to start the season."

The lightning-quick Sprints will share the race action with New Egypt's own
big-block Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks and Mid-State Communications
Rookie series, all vying for a piece of Victory Lane turf.

Old Country Buffet's April 14 Bunny Hop at New Egypt Speedway will kick off
at 5 pm. Gates open at 2 pm. At 4 pm, Mr. Bunny will lead an Easter Egg Hunt
for children ages 10 and under in the relocated playground area.

Adult admission is $18, children 7-12 are $6 and kids 6 and under are free.
The speedway is located on Route 539, minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure
and the NJ Turnpike. For more information, call the track office at (609)
