Haldeman Ford Returns As New Egypt Pacesetter

New Egypt, NJ (Mar. 16) -- For the second year, one of Haldeman Ford's
smokin' trucks will be setting the pace at New Egypt Speedway. The Hamilton,
NJ, dealership is returning as a corporate partner of the central Jersey
raceway, which begins its fourth successful season as a clay track under the
Grosso family flag on Saturday, March 24.

As part of its ongoing deal, Haldeman Ford is supplying the track with a
powerful 2001 Ford F250 4x4 XLT pickup with all the bells and whistles,
which will be front and center, pacing the field on race nights.

In addition to supplying a rough-and-rugged pace vehicle for New Egypt's
2001 campaign, Haldeman Ford will receive top billing as primary sponsor of
the track's Advance Auto Parts Super DIRT Series shootout, on Thursday, June
21. The midweek special will pit New Egypt's best against the premier
Modified drivers in the Northeast, in a 100-lap match of tactics and talent.

"Through our involvement at New Egypt last season, we were able to introduce
ourselves into a whole new market," said Haldeman Ford Sales Manager J.R.
Battreall. "We're looking forward to continuing that successful relationship
with the area's motorsports fans."

The partnership between Haldeman Ford and New Egypt Speedway is the car
dealer's first auto racing affiliation in its 27-year history. The Hamilton
location, one of a group of dealerships under the Haldeman umbrella in
central Jersey and Pennsylvania, specializes in Ford trucks, up to 750
series, and has recently added a fleet and commercial division.

New Egypt's spankin' F250 pace truck, carrying the Haldeman colors, will
christen the new half-mile tri-oval track on Saturday, March 24, during a
shakedown session for all divisions that will mark the official unveiling of
the raceway's ambitious off-season expansion project. Gates will open at 9
am, with tech inspection from 9 to noon, a Rookie Sportsman orientation
class at 10 am, and practice from 12 to 5 pm. Spectators will be admitted
free to the grandstands. Pit admission is $10 with a New Egypt Speedway
license, $15 without. Raindate is Sunday. For further information, call the
speedway office at (609) 758-1900 or stop by Haldeman Ford for a season
schedule card.
