LANDMARK HOTEL OFFICIAL HOST HOTEL FOR THE 3RD ANNUAL BAYOU BASH

WOODSTOCK, GA - United Dirt Track Racing Association officials have
announced that the Landmark Hotel in Leesville, LA is the Official Host
Hotel for the UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series 3rd Annual Bayou Bash at Thunder
Valley Speedway in Glenmora, LA on March 24, and The New Leesville 171
Speedway in Leesville, LA on March 25.

The Landmark Hotel, conveniently located 1.5 miles north of The New
Leesville 171 Speedway on U.S. Highway 171, is offering UDTRA fans and
competitors a special discount rate of $55.00 plus tax per night.

The Landmark Hotel offers a restaurant and lounge, large parking area,
on-site laundry, and access to exercise facilities. To make reservations
call (337) 239-7571 and ask for the special UDTRA discount rate.

The UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series will be making its third visit to Thunder
Valley Speedway for a 50-lap $10,000-to-win main event. The defending and
four-time UDTRA Champion Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN is the defending
UDTRA Thunder Valley Champion, and Steve Francis of Ashland, KY won the
1999
UDTRA event on the 3/8-mile clay oval.

Thunder Valley Speedway is located 12 miles west of Glenmora, LA on SR 113.

The New Leesville 171 Speedway will be hosting its first-ever UDTRA Pro
DirtCar Series event with a 50-lap $10,000-to-win main event on the -mile
clay oval. The New Leesville 171 Speedway is located 3.8 miles north of

Along with Bloomquist and Francis, top ten entries expected for both events
of the Bayou Bash include UDTRA Pro DirtCar Series point leader Rick Eckert
of York, PA, Steve Shaver of Parkersburg, WV, 1997 UDTRA Champion Billy
Moyer of Batesville, AR, and Dan Schlieper of Pewaukee, WI.

Other top ten contenders expected are Wendell Wallace of Batesville, AR,
Chub Frank of Sugar Grove, PA, 1999 UDTRA Champion Dale McDowell of
Rossville, GA, Terry English of Benton, KY, Ray Cook of Brasstown, NC,
Freddy Smith of Knoxville, TN, Rick Aukland of Zanesville, OH, Davey Johnson
of Greensburg, PA, and Dennis Erb Jr. of Carpentersville, IL.

More entries are also expected from Shannon Babb of Decatur, IL, Donnie
Moran of Dresden, OH, Jimmy Mars of Elk Mound, WI, Bill Frye of Greenbrier,
