JANUARY 17 TICKET DEADLINE FOR WALL STADIUM AWARDS DINNER
WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ With the hustle of the holiday season now completed,
crews and competitors are reminded not to forget about ticket arrangements
for the annual
Awards Dinner to honor the Wall Stadium Competitors. A deadline of January
will be strictly enforced for those wishing to reserve seating for the
January 27, 2001
affair. The awards dinner will be held for the sixth straight year at the
Greystone Monor at
Van's Freehold Inn in Freehold, N.J.
Top drivers in the Neptune Research Modified, Hoosier Tire Pro Stock,
Door Express Street Stock, Monmouth Truck Equipment Truck Series and the
Boots & Apparel Legend Cars divisions will be honored. Special awards, like
the Year and Most Improved, will also be presented in all divisions.
A choice from two items on the dinner menu will be offered and music will
entertain everyone during the evening. Tickets and tables are being sold on a
first serve basis, with the first purchased being located the closest to the
stage where the
awards will be presented. Tickets are selling at a pace far above that of any

WALL STADIUM WILL START 52ND CONSECUTIVE RACING SEASON
ON SATURDAY NIGHT, APRIL 7
WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ Although the weather has been harsh thus far this winter
season, Wall Stadium management and officials have been hard at work planning
2001 edition of the Coors Light/NAPA Auto Parts Racing Series. As has become a
tradition at the shore speedway, the first green flag of the new season will
wave at 7:00
p.m. on the first Saturday night of April. This season's opener is set for
Optimism is high for the 52nd annual stock car racing season. The Neptune
Research and Development Modified stock cars will headline Saturday evening
with the regular main event distance covering 30-laps. The Hoosier Tire Pro
battle in 25-lap main events on a regular basis, while the Garage Door
Stocks compete in 20-lappers on most Saturday nights. The Monmouth Truck
Truck Series racers will also battle in 20-lap mains and the Weiss' Boots and
Legend Cars will also compete in 20-lappers most Saturday nights.
Several extra-distance events will also be presented.
The all-new Wall Stadium/Neptune Research & Development Three-Quarter
Midgets will also make several appearances during the fast-approaching
addition to contesting events on selected Saturday nights, the Midgets will
also join the
Street Stocks during each of the five Sunday Demolition Derby specials. On
occasion, all Three-Quarter Midgets racers from any club or organization will
