TURKEY DERBY PRACTICE SET FOR THIS SATURDAY
(NOV. 4) AT WALL STADIUM

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ Due to a great interest by stock car racing competitors
to fine
tune their race cars before the 27th annual Sunoco/Kelly Racing Fuels Turkey
Derby at
Wall Stadium on November 24 and 25, speedway management will open the
third-mile
paved oval for a paid test session this Saturday (Nov. 4) from 1:00 until
3:00 p.m.

An additional Turkey Derby practice sessions has also been set for
Saturday,
November 18, also from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. In the event of rain on
either or both
dates, a rain date of Sunday, November 19, during the same hours will be in
effect.

Turkey Derby XXVII is already earning a lot of interest from followers of
the
action at the shore speedway. Three 50-lap main events will be contested by
the Neptune
Research Modified stock cars, with not only purse money being paid for each
main event,
but also bonus money being posted by Sunoco Racing Fuels and Kelly Racing
Fuels to the
top overall finishers.

Wall Stadium's regular divisions will not be forgotten in all the
excitement. The

Truck
Equipment Truck Series racers will see action in twin main events during the
weekend,
while the Weiss' Boots & Apparel Legend Cars and the open cockpit Three
Quarter
Midgets will also compete.

SUNOCO/KELLY RACING FUELS WILL BACK TURKEY DERBY XXIV
AT WALL STADIUM

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ Coors Light/NAPA Auto Parts Racing Series Modified, Pro
Stock, Street Stock and Truck Series drivers who venture to Wall Stadium for
Turkey
Derby XXVII on November 24 and 25 will have more to shoot for than just the
purse
money offered in each of the weekend's main events. In addition, they will be
shooting for
bonus bucks from Sunoco Racing Fuels and Kelly Racing Fuels.

Richard Perone, operator of the Pennsylvania based Kelly Racing Fuels,
recently
announced that he will back the Turkey Derby for the eighth straight year
with bonuses for
each of the third mile paved oval's three regular divisions. The Sunoco/Kelly
Racing Fuels
bonus will award money to the Modified drivers with the best overall records
once the
three 50-lap main events that make up the weekend's Turkey Derby Triple Crown
are
complete. The top drivers in the Pro Stock, Street Stock and Truck Series
main event
action will also earn bonus money. A minimum Turkey Derby weekend purchase
and a
post-race fuel check are mandatory before bonus money will be awarded.

"We were thrilled this year to continue with the support of companies
like Coors
Light and NAPA Auto Parts as well as all of our divisional sponsors," Jeff
Gravatt,
marketing director, said. "But the fact that we have also maintained this
long relationship
with Sunoco and Kelly Race Fuels is also very satisfying. It is great to have
them
associated with the speedway and with Turkey Derby."

While fans of the traditional Turkey Derby 150 laps of open wheel stock
car action
will remain happy, enthusiasts who prefer the charge to the front competition
of shorter
races will also be satisfied as triple 50 lap Modified races will be featured
for the fifth
straight year. With SK Modified cars from New England invited to compete,
fields should
be bigger than ever.

Competitors and fans are urged to call 732-681-6400 or visit the speedway
website at www.wallstadium.com for more information.

WALL STADIUM TURKEY DERBY XXV SCHEDULE SET -
MAIN EVENTS ON TAP FOR EACH DAY

WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ Wall Stadium manager Tucker Nicol has set the schedule
for the 27th annual Sunoco/Kelly Race Fuels Turkey Derby on Friday and
Saturday,
November 24 and 25. Always presented during the daylight hours, both days
appear to be
action packed affairs.

Friday's activities will feature plenty of action with qualifying for all
divisions and
four main events. After a practice session for all divisions, competition
will start at noon
on Friday with time trials for the Neptune Research Modifieds. Once those
times are
logged, the Hoosier Tire Pro Stocks, Garage Door Express Street Stocks, the
Monmouth
Truck Equipment Truck Series and Three Quarter Midgets will qualify through
heat races
before the Modifieds return in their own set of qualifying heats. Once the
day's heat races
are complete, the Pro Stocks will battle in their first 25-lapper, the Street
Stocks will
contest their first 20-lap main event of the weekend and the Trucks will
battle in their first
of two main events. The Open Cockpit Three-Quarter Midgets will also compete
in main
events on Friday.

Saturday will be an even bigger day at Turkey Derby XXVII. All divisions
will
again practice at 8:30 a.m., before the Weiss' Boots & Apparel Legend Cars
begin the
action with heat races at 10:00 a.m. Next Modifieds compete in consolation
races to set
the field for the first of three main events. The weekend's second Truck
Series main event
and the Legend Cars feature are next. Once pre-race ceremonies are complete,
the
Modifieds will battle in their first of three Saturday 50-lap main events.
The Pro Stocks
will contest their second 25-lapper and the Street Stocks will battle in
their second 20-
lapper of the weekend.

In the event of rain on Friday, an alternate schedule will be set for
Saturday.
Although Friday's Pro Stock, Street Stock and Truck Series main events will
be lost if it
should rain, the Three Quarter Midget events will be run as a part of
Saturday's alternate
schedule. The season-long Coors Light/NAPA Auto Parts point standings will
then be
used to determine the fields for Saturday's Truck, Pro and Street Stocks main
events,
while Modified qualifying will be done in the same manner that was set for
Friday. If rain
does dampen Friday, a total of eight main events will be presented on
Saturday. Sunday,
November 26, will be used in the event of bad weather on Saturday.
