THRILLS ON WHEELS RADIO BACK ON THIS WEEK AFTER HIATUS
Wooster,OH--- THRILLS ON WHEELS, the popular Central Ohio racing radio program aired every Sunday evening on 50,000 watt radio station WQKT 104.5 FM out of Wooster,OH, will return this Sunday evening, October 22, after a two week hiatus due to West Coast Cleveland Browns games pre-empting the broadcast, announced co-hosts Chuck Griffith and Doc Lehman. THRILLS ON WHEELS will be back on the air weekly beginning this Sunday from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
Appearing on the special “YOUNG GUNS” show this week, October 22,will be rising Sprint Car stars GARRETT JACOBS, JAC NEVILLE and JAMIE MARTIN, three young men who have just started their during the past two seasons. Jacobs drives the Jacobs Racing #75j co-owned by Jacobs and his grandfather, Harve Jacobs. Neville,17, a West Holmes High School student,drives the #2 Maxim owned by his uncle, Jac Haudenschild. Martin, a 16 year old Triway High School student, drives the Martin Motorsports #15 Stealth. All three compete at Wayne County Speedway on a regular basis.
The following week, Sunday October 29, the special in-studio guests will be TNN broadcaster BRAD DOTY, who will review the 2000 Pennzoil World of Outlaws season as well as preview the upcoming TNN broadcast of the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Las Vegas Motor Speedway season ending event. Joining Doty in the studio will be well known auto racing journalists DANA BLAIR and MARTY REILLY, both columnists for RPM Racing News.
On Sunday November 4 the special THRILLS ON WHEELS guests will include Ohio Street Stock stars, and brothers, TROY & RYAN ANDERSON, both regular competitors at Wayne County Speedway in Orrville,OH
