On Saturday, October 14th, and on Sunday, October 15th, the race track at Pennsboro WILL RUN the Pennsboro National Championship. Rumors, which seem to be circulating that the race will not run, are false. Here's the real story for all you racers and race fans.

The magic of Pennsboro is still alive and no matter what can't be duplicated. Pre-entries have been received from as far as Clermont, Florida and the winner of the Pennsboro Summer Nationals and STARS Racer Mike Balzano has pre-entered to try to make it two in a row and claim the $20,000 to win at the Pennsboro National Championship on October 14th and October 15th.

On Saturday the 14th of October, Late Models, AMRA Modifieds, and Stock Cars will run their time trials, heats, and conseys. On Sunday the 15th of October there will be three features- the Late Model feature, consisting of 100 laps, paying $20,000 to win and $500 to start; the AMRA Modified feature, consisting of 30 laps, paying $1000 to win and $100 to start; and the Stock Car feature, consisting of 25 laps, paying $1000 to win and $75 to start. The gates open on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. and racing begins at 1:00 p.m. On Sunday the gates open at 8:00 a.m. and the racing begins at 12:00 p.m.(noon). Camping and parking are free but there are no hook-ups for campers. General Admission is $30.00(two day pass) and Pits are $40.00(two day pass).
