RICH HISTORY OF DIRT TRACK WORLD CHAMPIONS *
DIRT TRACK WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ADVANCE TICKET DEADLINE OCTOBER 10TH.

The finest Super Late Models and the finest fans in the world have made the
pilgrimage since 1981 to be a part of this October Super Late Model Classic.
It started in 1981, with Jim Dunn claiming the first DTWC checkers at
Pennsboro Speedway and climbed to greater heights with the move West
Virginia Motor Speedway in 1999, with Steve Francis claiming the prestigious
victory. The first DIRT TRACK WORLD CHAMPION of the new millennium will
post his name among the elite champions from the past, on the weekend of
October 21st and 22nd.

Freddy Smith of Knoxville, TN is the only five-time DIRT TRACK WORLD
CHAMPION.
He is the only driver to ever make the starting line up for every DIRT TRACK
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. The late Jack Boggs claimed three DTWC Titles. Billy
Moyer and Ronnie Johnson have won the DTWC two times each.
Fans and racers alike can take advantage of advance ticket sales. Now
is the time to save some money and set your plans in stone to be a part of
the 20th Annual DTWC at West Virginia Motor Speedway on October 21st and
22nd.
The deadline is nearing for Advance Tickets to the 20th Annual DIRT TRACK
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Advance Tickets are available through October 10th.
WVMS Officials are continuing the Tradition of Advance Ticket sales for the
October Super Late Model Classic. Race fans will save $10.00 per ticket by
purchasing DTWC Tickets in advance.
Advance 2-Day General Admission Tickets is $35.00. Advance 2-Day Pit
Passes are $45.00. Advance 2-Day General Admission Ages 6-11 are $10.00.
Children under 6 will be admitted free. Camping for the DTWC is available.
Advance DTWC Tickets may be purchased by mail, send your order to: DTWC,
P.O. Box 490
Mineral Wells, WV 26150. Advance DTWC Tickets are sold on a first come
basis. Advance DTWC Tickets can only be purchased by Money Order or
Cashiers Check. No Personal Checks. Locally, tickets may be purchased at
Eddie's Auto Parts in Parkersburg 304-684-6486 or at Dave Poske's Route 47
Carryout in Parkersburg 304-428-5000.
Camping for the DTWC is available in the "VIP on the Hill" area for $50
and General Camping on the speedway grounds for $20. Camping is on the
first come, first serve basis. There are no reserved camping spots.
Campers are allowed to set up at WVMS on the weekend prior to the DTWC.
