Race fans and Super Late Model drivers are gearing up for the "Oldest Dirt
Late Model Major Event" in the history of the sport, THE HILLBILLY 100.
The
drivers pre-entered to date include the very best in the Super Late Model
business. With the quality of the drivers who have pre-entered, the 2000
HILLBILLY 100 has the ingredients to be the best race in the history of the
event. Possibly the best race of the year.

The West Virginia Tradition continues with the HILLBILLY 100 paying $25,000
to the winner. Tyler County Speedway will host the HILLBILLY 100 for the
third straight year, on Sunday September 3rd and Monday September 4th.

Over 60 Late Models have pre-entered and many more are expected to shoot
for
the title of HILLBILLY 100 Champion for 2000. The large sample of drivers
pre-entered include 1999 Champion Davey Johnson, and 1998 Champion Steve
Shaver. Past HILLBILLY 100 winners pre-entered include Rodney Combs,
Freddy
Smith, Donnie Moran, Bart Hartman, Rod Conley, and Todd Andrews. Drivers
looking for their first HILLBILLY title pre-entered include Scott
Bloomquist, Steve Francis, Ray Cook, Wendell Wallace, Gary Stuhler, Billy
Moyer, Rick Eckert, Mike Balzano, Booper Bare, Brian Birkhoffer, C.S.
Fitzgerald, Dan Schleiper, Jimmy Mars, Rick Aukland, John Gill, Chub
Frank,
and Steve Lucas. Many more from around the country and the Ohio Valley
will
>test their skill and machinery on their way to winning this years HILLBILLY
100.

2-Day General Admission is $30, 2-Day Pit Pass is $40, Ages 6-12 are $10,
and children under 6 are admitted FREE. Camping is available.

Gates open on Sunday September 3rd at 5pm, with Hot Laps at 6:15pm, Time
Trials at 7pm and Racing at 8pm. Headlining the Sunday racing is the
HILLBILLY 50 for Steel Block Late Models paying $2,500 to Win! In
addition,
the Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and Street Stocks will provide wheel to wheel
heat racing action.

Gates open on Monday September 4th at 10am, Late Model Time Trials are
scheduled for 3pm with Racing at 4pm. The 32nd Annual HILLBILLY 100,
paying
$25000 to Win, headlines the Monday racing.
Also on tap is the WHITE LIGHTIN 25 for the Modifieds, the SOUR MASH 20 for
the Street Stocks and The LIL' HILLBILLY 20 for the Pure Stocks.
