Where I live they are called hornets. The rulles varries from track to track however. So I cannot race at all the tracks. How about you?

Here in La. they are just called Ministocks except for a few tracks in Ms., they're called 4-clyd modifides. Rules are much the same at all tracks but some have some off the wall rules.

Springfield Airport Speedway (MO) has two classes: mini-stocks and four cylinder sportsman (formerly mini-stock open). The mini-stock class is your basic "stock only" rules. The sportsman class allows some engine modifications, IMCA tires, no weight limit, etc.

The track I race at has it broken down into three categories. 4 cyl. pure stock, 4 cyl. super stock , and 4 cyl unlimited modified.

I am starting out this year with a 4 cyl. pure stock mustang.

Imagine that a 40 yr old rookie LOL.

North East Iowa we call em Hornets. Some tracks allow turbos some don't. The cars are supposed to be completely stock at all the tracks around here. Rwd or Fwd allowed, no trucks.
