I bought a Holley 350 Keith Dorton carb.(80787-1).I know nothing about a carb and bolted it on since it said race ready out of the box. This thing idles perfectly and simply screams off the corners and down the straights. My problem comes on caution laps and restarts, it spits and sputters and pops and loads up to the point of killing the engine when the green flies.Where do I start?

clean it out,rev it up real quick a couple of times, good before the green flies that is my advice but I am not a expert. But I bet earl parker or kp can help. Later Bobby

go to earl parkers website he is asked a question about a motorcraft and it sounds a lot like yours. He gives a very detailed list of things to try. Bobby
