We need help with springs on a 1984 mustang, stock class. Running on a 1/4 mile banked dirt. We must run stock springs, no aftermarket springs, can cut stock springs. How much? Running 205-13 tires with 2 inch offset. Any help ? Thanks BIGG C

From what I have saw the v-8 springs rate around 350 take and cut one coil of and run the small sway bar. This is for the right front spring. Also I would get some old back ones and have them tested to see what they are and go from there. Bobby

if you can run spring rubbers in your stock springs this may be your best choice, and you can retain alot of adjustability in your chassis.have seen alot of cars on short 1/4 miles where stock rated gt springs work well.change your sway bar end links to 1/2" all thread rod on both sides so you can preload the bar as neede to get bite from the center need for a lot of spring split in the rear on that short of track but b4racing is right i would have them rated for sure.reply with your current spring rates and i can let you know how many rubbers you will need where.need to know the wire size, total number of coils and the spring inside diameter.ill try to help from there
