I'm currently running a Pinto 2.3L and was thinking about switching to a FWD car. Honda came to mind first since there are plently of after market parts available for those cars. Also plently at the salvage yards. The question is which car would be good choice for 1/3 mile track. I was thinking toward Honda CRX with 16 valve 1.6L (D16A6) Just wondering if that engine would be comptetive with bigger cc's engine like my pinto 2.3L. Track rules states stock engine only. We don't have pound per cc rule.

Last year at our track a 90 acura integra was the fastest car. I ran a Toyota Celica and if I could do it over I would look for a 91ish prelude with a 2.3. Front wheel drive with a big engine.
