I have a 78 toyota celica with a 20r in it. I am having trouble mounting a working throttle. the stock aplication has the pedal moving the arm up and down. I have tried numerous set ups and I'm just wondering if anyone can help. Thanks

Try looking at a 2 barrel sprint cars setup they work real well on a toyota..

which carb are you running. If you are using the stock carb then the stock linkage is fine. I use the weber dg series carb with the cable linkage. I just got the throttle pedal and cable out of a newer fuel injected car and moved the base point on the engine to align it with the carb for a straight pull. It took about 20 minutes to get it all hooked up.
