I'm looking for some opnions. I currently run a mustang and the guy who helps with my engines and mechanic work wants to build a car for next year. The track that we run at has absolutly no rules. Even when we did nobody checked. I just wanted to know what you guys think. I already have another mustang gutted. We have trucks, mustangs, pintos, toyotas, and a couple of tube chassis cars. The tube cars are tough to beat unless the track is its usual hard and slick. Even then they are up front. We all want to win, but I just want us to run in the top five without spending $5000 to win a $100 race.

there's a pinto at our track that really hard to beat . you might try the pinto or the tube frame car .

My opinion is if you don't have any rules, run the tube car of course. Especially if there are others out there. If not I would probably go with the pinto. Make it real light and put a thumper in it.
