I got my car running just a few minutes ago ran fine loaded it up on the trailer strapped it down to take it to a guy to do a little work to it and I started it back up for the heck of it and fuel just boiled up out of the top of the carburetor all over what may be causing this is the float maybe stuck thanks

It may be a needle and seat or power valve problem. There's a couple carb professionals here somewhere that will give you some input in a little bit.

Hi,
Either your float is stuck such that the needle/seat cannot seal up and control the fuel level in the bowl, or the float has just plain broken off, or there is something wedging the needle open.
The best thing to do is first to remove the needle and seat and insure they are clean and free of anything limiting their function, and if that doesn't help, then remove the bowl and inspect the float.

Hope that help, and if there's anything else I can do, just ask.

could be dirt in the needle and seat...the float itself...does it have fuel inside it....shake it and see...look at the needle and seat does it have a ring around where they come together..are you running stock type fuel pump or high pressure....later mongo stop by chat later and let us no

i am going to get a new one they are like 350 dollars i found this one laying in a pile of junk at a junk yard i have raced it about 10 times and had no problem with it but to be on the safe side i will get a new one so it don't do that while i am racing that would be bad if it started a fire

If you're looking for a carb, I think I can save you some $ and time, as well as gain you a noticeable amount of performance.
Just a thought, anyway....
