Are you sure the bead is not being damaged by mounting an unmounting the tire. What kind of damage are you finding on the bead. I find it hard to believe, if you have a good wheel, that the bead is going to get damaged too much from spinning on the wheel.

hello i have had the same problem happen to me. it happens on the right front because that is where there is the most stress. step one break tire off make sure the bar code stickers are all out of inside tire step two lightly mist insde tire with water bottle step three sprinkle baby poeder all inside of tire step four install tube step five make sure when you mount tire you dont get anything inside tire when you get the tire mounted put bead sealer all around outer lip of rim. seems like alot of work but it only takes about 10 minutes i did this and up airpressure to 18 pounds and i havent had a flat since.good luck.

Lets go back to the RF you were talking about. I'm a little confused. I would think the RF would be the least likely to have problems with the tire spinning on the wheel. And I still don't think the smooth lip of the wheel is going to rip or damage the the tire bead as a result of slipping on the wheel a quarter or half turn. I have seen a few beads stretched or torn during mounting. I'm just curious, because I hear about tire problems, but I haven't had a tire go down or come off the bead in two years ( knock on wood). I've had a few cut lol. I'm just trying to understand what the prob is.
