What is the best car used for building a good ministock. By saying best, I mean as far as weight distribution and durability.

For awhile here it seemed to be the Mustangs, but lately it seems as though the Pintos have taken over. I run 4 cyl. Modified with tube chassis', but we all run Fords, no imports here.

i love the toyota corolla 80 to 82 model any type, such as the 2 door sedan or the sport coupe. the sedan can be make a little lighter but the sport coupe is a sleeker and more arodynamic car. the 3tc engine is the easiest engine to work on that i have tried. most tracks in our area have rules that say you must weigh 1 pound per cc. since the 3tc is 1770 cc thus the weight different from the 2300 ford. everybody on dirt seems to go with the ford and not to many yotas on dirt but i won the track championship in 98 in a toyota and the 99 champion was also a toyota. hope this helps your dicision.
