I need to know what kind of kart to buy. I stuck my foot in my mouth and told my little brother if he would stay out of trouble and make honor roll I would get him a kart to race. Not only did he stay out of trouble he made straight A's so I cant go back on my word. The only thing I ever race is 4-cylinder toyota's so I have no idea what to buy.

Well karts come in a variety of flavors. If you are running circle track u want a "off set"kart that is where the left frame rail is in toward the seat mounting. The best kart I ever rode was a Coyote Freeroller. We still have it.Real repeatability. And karts are just like cars they need scaled and set up.If you have questions feel free to p.m. me.I will help if I can.

That depends on age and what you are in to. I would tell you to take him to the track and let him watch the karts. See what he likes. We run yard karts --2 reasons 11 year old driver (inexperienced had to start somewhere) and the roll cage. I wanted him to learn the ropes and get some seat time in before we turned him lose. All karts are going to cost you so i'd go with what he's interested in. my 2 cents hope it helps.

Okay this weekend I received bad news kinda. He had a friend who ran karts last year and let him run his in a rookie class. To all of our surprise he ran 4th. Actually led some drove in to hard trying to hlod off second place man and fell to third. So if anyone has a kart for sale I guess I am interested. Even if it means having to sell my min stock.

hey how much does a kart cost? hopefully it is cheap so i can afford it once i get out of high school. if it is cheap ill try to beg my dad to sell my street stock and go for karting and try it out. i also have a friend that will probally sell me a FAST kart under 200$ and my old quad.
