This Margay I am working on is a pain to set up for a smaller child because of the rear steer and the tie rods...anyone have any ideas how to make it easier to do?

I can only assume you are speaking of short legs and rear steer getting in the way of moving pedals back?Well what we did for my godson was put a"second floor"above the tie rods.We did this with 4 hollow tubes of steel and an aluminum plate(it was quite invovled)and moved the pedals to the new floor. We made new throttle and brake rods.Kept the old ones and watch for a groath spurt.Watch when you change the angle of the brake rod.We had to put a stop on it to keep it from breaking over.I am sorry this is not more invoved but it was a lengthy project. He raced one year and decided not to race again.Oh well.
