Well, I am told today that now our engine has 305 heads on it with flat top pistons, yielding a compression of 11:1. What gas needs to be run with this to run safely at 6000 rpms? What about plugs? I am assuming jumping 2 points of compression will change the plugs that are needed right? Thanks.

Don't run pure pump gas.

I would say with a longer duration race cam and 36 degrees of timing you should be good with 96, maybe even 94.

Well I am giving up racing for a while I think after talking to the car owner. He doesn't have a clue and plans on going to the track anyway, even when I say the car isn't ready. I've got a ton of tornado damage repair to do anyway. **** mother nature anyway...
