HELP!!!

I have a 406 w/ 461 heads.. My problem is there isnt any accessory holes for power steering bracket or pump tapped in block or heads. The motor is race ready and I do not want to tap into heads, due to possible problems with steam jackets. Ive been told that there is certain pumps off early/late 60's motors that use the water pump holes?

Thanks...Any Info would help

If your set on using a stock pump, find yourself one off of a mid 70's or so chevy van. They have a block mounted power steering pump. You may have to fabricate an upper bracket to go to the front ex. bolt hole, but thats pretty simple.

Speedway sells a block mount for stock pumps. The pump needs to have two mounting holes.

We run the Speedway bracket and a stock pump off of an early 70's Chevelle. We also cut the "round style" neck off a junk pump and used it and a peice of neopreen (spelling?) to extend the neck so we don't throw the fluid out.
