When drilling small holes in the butterflies
in a quadrajet
to increase off idle throttle response, as KPLugnut has mentioned before, can this modification be done without doing anything else to the carb? I have made many mods to my quadrajet and I want to try this one but I want to know if it can stand alone.

The reason for having to do this procedure is if you have the idle ***** cranked up to high to get the engine to idle properly and there is to much of the trasfer slot exposed by the throttle blades. You drill the small holes for idle air so you can close the throttle blades back where they need to be for good responce hope this helps.....towman

towman I know what the procedure is for.
I was just wondering if I would need to modify anything else at the same time.
thanks.
