I have the older version (dyno2000)

It works and is fun to play with. Accuracy is based on how well you input data. Sounds like the new version has some airflow files and cam files that would maek this easier.

I cant say it is 100% accurate but it is close and it will show general trends.

Performance Trends Engine Analyzer or Engine Analyser Pro are the best ones i've tried and I've tried most of them.

racer, would you say the Performance Trends program is worth the money for what you were wanting or are you still disappointed? I understand these things may not be dead on accurate, but wouldn't they be close? Can you put in your own cam specs on any of these programs or do you have to select an available profile?

Either standard or pro versions will let you input almost any specs on any component. I would recommend either one to anyone looking for agood engine simulation program. You can get more info. at performance trends website.
