Did or does Chevy make 1.6 ratio stamped steel rockers?

try a ford '65 289 "rail less" rocker. they're cast iron, light and much more durable than a stamped steel rocker.

You can also go to a 7/16 Scr@w-in stud and use a stock pontiac rocker .

Hmmm, what I'm getting at is; if the rules ask for "stock style" rockers, is there a stock rocker application anywhere that would technically allow the 1.6 rockers that are advertised everywhere? I know there is a benefit to higher ratios and the cam rule is about "valve lift", so one could get max legal lift with a little more aggressive ratio, right?

Most all of the aftermarket 1.6 rockers look identical to the 1.5s.

All the after mkt. 1.6 rockers I have seen look just like stock rockers this is an old trick they came up with yrs. ago I dont think you will have any trouble running them another advantage most of them are long slotted to alow more clearance on valve lift...hope this helps towman....
