I was thinking of changing form alcohol to gas on bigger 1/2 mile tracks and especially on long races. I now run a 750 alcohol carb and was think of staying with a gas 750 carb when I make the change. My thought is with the bigger tracks, most with sweeping turns a 750 would be better then say a 650 because the more bottom end the 650 would provide would not be necessary. Am I on the right path. Thanks

A properly set up 750 gas carb won't have any less bottom end response than a 650, honestly. Where the 2 carbs will differ, as you know, will be on those long straights.
