I have never plugged the oil filter check valve. What are the advantages of plugging it? How are you plgging it? Thanks in advance.

When you first start your engine with the bypass not plugged , it will bypass engine oil from being filtered . Also , if you start to lose a bearing under racing condition's , it will bypass any trash directly into the rest of the bearing's . If you plug your bypass , then all the oil at all times will be run through the filter . If you plug your bypass , which I would recommend , then be sure to have your engine at operating temp before any high RPM racing .
