Wondering if anyone ever tried using sb ford rocker arms on a sb chevy, if so, how did they work out. ARS

they work quite well and they're 1.6 ratio. use the early 289 "non-rail" rocker arms on your sbc. they are cast iron, light and tough as nails.

IMCA guys have been doing this for years on their claimer engines.

When using a 1.6 sb ford rocker on a chevy do you use a stock lenght chevy push rod. I plan on running them on exhaust only. THANKS ARS

yes, the stock length pushrods will work unless you've changed the length of the valves or milled the heads/block a bunch. fords and chevys both use a 5/16" pushrod so no problem there.
