What do you guys think about running race gas instead of alky? What would you change about the engine package if anything? Cooling system concerns? TIA

One advantage of gas over alky is the fact that you burn half as much so your weight doesnt change as much during a race. But you have to be careful to keep it cool. Big radiator, good fan and pulley setup, shroud, keeping jetting correct and not too lean.
Personally i would run alky. We have for 5 years and never had problems. You will hear a lot about corrosion associated with alky but i havent noticed any problems with it. As long as you dont neglect your fuel system you should be fine.
