if somebody has a book or something with chevy head casting numbers could you look up casting #3795896 for me please. I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that these are 60cc heads, possibly off a 327. if you can, I need the combustion chamber cc, valve size, runner size, etc.

thanks a lot folks

Quoted from " Chevrolet Small-Block V-8 ID Guide " ........ " The 520 and 896 castings, for the 283ci engine, have a 58cc chamber. Most all other 283ci heads are 64cc. The intake port has approximate 140cc volume size. The Power Pack heads carry a marginally larger intake port over other 283ci heads. This feature made this casting the most desirable in the early years".
