I just got a new 4 barrel to 2 barrel adapter/spacer, the resin ones that look like wood. Unlike the one I already have, this one has slots for mounting on the intake. It can be positioned forward or backward from the normally centered location. I don't think I want to get involved with a bunch of experimenting with position, so I centered it up. However, is there a general rule for positioning it, or has anyone figured something that can be helpful? The engine is a flat top 355, hyd cam, dual plane intake, headers; nothing real special in a 3300# street stock.

3/4 of the way to the rear. Not quite all the way. That's where our testing has shown the best, most balanced results.

Hope that helps,

Thanks KP for sharing your results. I'll try it that way.
