Building a Pure Stock and rules allow 1 5/8 headers. Engine is a 406 chevy with flats and 461 heads, special grind from Camcraft [.410 lift and 230/234 duration ]. Limited to a 350 holley on a stock cast iron quadrajet intake. I have two sets of headers that will fit my 76 monte chassis, one is a very short tube header, not block hugger, which was made for a 63 nova and the other set is a long tube that was made for a 55 chevy. I plan on running 3 inch exhaust with speedway mufflers. Our track is 1/2 mile tri-oval asphalt moderately banked. With my gear selection I plan on turning 6000 rpm. Question....... Which set of headers are better suited for my combination.. Thanks Ya'all

Look in the TOOLBOX under header tube length, put in your data, and it should tell ya how long it should be.
