what, if any effects on vaccum readings would changing from a 1.5 rocker to a 1.6 rocker ratio? we currently have to pull 16 inches of vaccum at 1000 rpm. with the cam we run now it is not a problem but i was wondering if the 1.6 rocker would improve performance. also, does anybody know of a solid lift cam out there that will pull 16" at 1000 rpm?

I would not expect much change in vacuum from 1.5 to 1.6 rocker ratio. As there is only a few degrees increase in valve timing. This is offset by about .030 increase in lift. Don't expect large gains in horsepower, I would guess around 7hp maybe 10hp at the most. A low lift cam will see more gain than a high lift cam.
