How good are the 882 head.

good in that they are plentiful,otherwise they are fair better oem heads are out there.

Had nothing but cracks with those ones.

882 heads if they are overheated very much, or for long periods of time will crack. Due to the casting process that was done, i think they are lighter, and or thinner than other heads.

we have been running them for years and never seen any more problems them we did with any other heads rico is right they are not the best choice of heads but if you are under a 9;1 compression rule like we are they are one of the better choices

The heads came on a motor that was give to us. I have a set of 993 i ran last year. Our compression is under 10
