I have a set of heads that have the rocker studs pinned, can they machined for screwin studs and guidplates or will the pinned hole leak ? just wondered thanks

most likeley yes you can use them as you must machine the stud bosses to run the ***** in studs. This should be the thickness of the hex head on the stud plus the thickness of guide plate plus .050 . most of the time its about .375 removal for studs and plates.Hope this helps.

I agree just put some sealer on all of then as I'm sure you would anyway just to be sure

This is a little late but I had a set of heads that the studs were pinned in and after they were machined for ***** -in studs, the process removed most of the stud tower and all evidence that they were pinned.

The side benefit was that it also removed all of a crack that had formed on one of the towers as well.
