i am racing a street stock (3 link rear suspension) on all 1/4 mile tracks with pretty wide corners so not stop and go. min. weight 3000 max c.i.d 370 on a limited budget what would be some pro's con's and your opinions on the best eng. combination to run 355 6in. rod,363 (i believe is a stroker with like a 3 9/16 stroke crank)or a 400 block with 3.25 stroke think this is 348 c.i.d the last one kind of scare me i understand you have to really twist it up tight to make it run. right now with my 355 5.7 rod motor i am really out horsed thanks in advance

in a cubic inch limited class, the best combo is the biggest bore, shortest stroke you can get under the cubic inch limit. go with the longest rod that will fit in that sucker and it'll rpm like no other. big bore + short stroke + long rod = big, RELIABLE rpm's.

some will differ, but that is my opinion.
