I was just brain storming, and day dreaming...(scary, huh?) any how, I was just wanting to know if anyone has tried running an electric water pump, if so did you have any luck.

Electric water pumps are primarly for drag cars. What would bother me about one is it would not change with rpm.Just my thoughts.

The Moroso drive style, which is a separate motor turning the stock water pump, are very marginal, even on a drag car. We would have to run the pump the whole day, and as the time between rounds got shorter, help in the form of the old pressure sprayer was needed. Definitely unsuitable for an oval track car. We never tried the Meziere pumps, couldn't justify the $400, cause the guys that had them still used their sprayers too. As long as you are daydreaming, dream up a good way to hide the nitrous plumbing, or traction control, or...both!
